Frequently asked about Arcade

What age is Arcade suitable for?+

Arcade is designed for learners aged 8–16. Sessions are calm and low pressure — prior experience is never required. Duygu adapts to each learner's pace and starting point.

Does my child need any coding experience?+

None at all. Unit 1 (Scratch) starts from absolute beginner level. If your child already has experience, there are 5 further units — Python, Web Design, Computer Systems, Creative Computing, and Cyber Security — to choose from.

How does Arcade Home fit into our timetable?+

Flexibly. At 1 hour a week, all 6 units take around 2 years to complete. At 2 hours a week, the full KS3 Computing curriculum is covered in one academic year. Each unit has 12 sessions — self-paced, no deadlines.

Is Arcade suitable for SEND learners?+

Yes. Many Arcade learners have ADHD, autism, anxiety, or other needs that make classroom learning difficult. Sessions are calm, predictable, and built around making progress feel achievable. Duygu has 15+ years of SEND experience.

What is the Arcade Circle?+
