All sessions are delivered via video call. There is no travel, no classroom, no disruption. Sessions are one-to-one and built entirely around the individual learner.
A device with a camera and microphone (laptop, tablet, or desktop). A stable internet connection. That is all. No specialist software is required. The student does not need to install anything.
Dee uses screen sharing to show examples, explain theory, and work through questions together. Students can share their own screen to show code or exam answers for feedback. Sessions feel like being taught in person โ without the commute.
Computer Science is particularly well suited to online delivery โ the subject itself lives on screen.
Programming is taught by looking at code together, running it, and seeing what happens. Online delivery makes this natural โ both teacher and student can see the same code at the same time.
Theory explanations, diagram drawing, and worked examples all happen digitally. Screen sharing with annotation tools provides the same visual clarity as a physical whiteboard.
Sessions can produce shared documents, notes, or code examples that the student keeps. This is harder to replicate in a physical session.
Online tutoring removes the travel barrier entirely โ learners in rural areas, learners with mobility difficulties, and learners who find unfamiliar environments difficult all benefit equally.
Sessions are tailored to the individual. The most common requests are listed here.
